Hi Everyone!!!

Hope this last Christmas and New Years season was great! I know, that greeting is a little late but we are still trying to catch up from all the excitement and busyness during that time. Two of our kids birthdays are thrown in there as well as our Anniversary too!! Needless to say we are hoping things will slow done a little.

Life continues to fly right on by as we prepare to head back to the Philippines, Lord willing, this summer. We have been doing a lot of speaking to small groups and churches. We were excited to share with a youth group this week about missions and the Philippines and we look forward to many more opportunities like that coming up soon. I guess this would be a good time remind you that if you would like us to come and share with a group you are in, please just let us know. Our schedule is filling up but we would hate to miss meeting with you before we go back.

Praises:

-As of last month Gilmer is officially an American citizen!!! Praise God for answered prayers!!!

-For a great holiday season with family and friends!! You appreciate it more when you have missed it for 3 years.

-For another year of marriage and for another year for both the boys. They both had a recent birthday. Josiah is now 2 and Caleb is now 6 years old. Oh and we have had 9 years of wedded bliss! :)

-So many chances to share our ministry as we've had many speaking engagements. It's so encouraging to meet new people and see those who have faithfully prayed for and supported us!

Prayer Requests:

-Gilmer needs to start working part-time until our support level is raised. Please being praying for wisdom as he splits his time between work and his "work" support raising. Those of you who have done it know it's a full-time job by it's self.

-Please pray with us that others might be called to join our team of supporters. We are currently about 60% supported.

-Wisdom and guidance for everyday choices in our relationship with Christ, raising our kids, having a healthy marriage, the ministries God has put us in, etc.


Thank you all for taking time to read a little bit about what's going on in our lives. Your prayers and support mean so much to us.

Summer highlights, God's overwhelming provision and exciting news...

Be still – in the midst of battle, stop, lay down your weapons, allow yourself to be weak, and let go. The past few months have been overwhelming, yet looking back, we can't help but marvel at how God made everything work. Had we insisted on our own way, it could have been a mess. Well, we are happy to announce that we are all moved into our new house and are settling in. There is still much work to be done and the process has been long but we are seeing light at the end of the tunnel.
