September Update

Dear Family, Friends, and Supporters,

Good news!!! We are 100% supported and have our tickets to go back to the Philippines! We fly out on October 13th.

We are very excited to see this finally happening and we want to thank all of you for your support and prayers during our Home Service in the States this past year. We want to praise God that He has provided through His people even during this time of recession in our economy.

It has been really nice being home for a while and we are going to dearly miss all our family and friends here in the States. I was talking to Nhaya and Caleb this morning and they were wondering if it’s ok to be sad and happy at the same time! I said. “Yes, because that’s how we all feel...”

We will post more about our ministry in the Philippines when we get there and it starts to take shape better. For right now though be please be praying for all the adjustments coming and to get settled well. For more praises and prayer requests please see the side bar.

In August Nhaya and Caleb went back to school. Nhaya's in 3rd grade now and Caleb is in 1st.

This last month we've been busy visiting different churches and speaking about our ministry. Here we are with a family from a Filipino Church in Phoenix. Gilmer went to High School with this lady and she was able to find him on Facebook!

We spoke at a church that was only five miles away from our favorite camping spot. So here we are camping for the last time before we head back!

Josiah loved camping! Mostly the dirt I think!

Praise the Lord!!! I'm so excited for you all and how the Lord has provided. He always does though. ;) I can't wait to hear about how the Lord uses your whole family in the Philippines!

Tyson, one of our participants for our summer missions trip, is a college student who was originally signed up for the Thailand team. The trip was scheduled to depart on June 19, 2024, and since there were no conflicts with his school schedule, we went ahead and purchased his tickets. However, a few days later, Tyson informed us that his school had rescheduled their finals to the same date as our departure. This almost impossible situation turned into a faith building event. After praying and seeking guidance, we decided to speak with the school's head staff.  Thankfully the administration agreed to let Tyson take his exams ahead of time, enabling him to join the summer team. Praise God that even as we prepare to go God is already making a way and teaching us new lessons in faith. We have participants coming from all over. December Update 2023

As this new year starts, we want to make sure that we look back at God's faithfulness and say a big THANK YOU! You partnership has enabled us to continue working with Filipino churches to send out missionaries to the unreached.  Big News! We praise God for such a special time to celebrate the wedding of Jake and Nhaya! We traveled back to the States this summer and were grateful to be with so many friends and family who came to support this couple as they begin their lives together.  TEAM 4:5 Update One of the ways we develop a vision for missions is through short-term missions trips. For years we have been trying to launch a team but covid and other issues have delayed this. One of the new challenges we have now are the dates.
