May 2011
Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
Matt. 9:37-38
This team leaves Friday for Mindanao to help serve with fellow SEND missionaries. They return May 28th. Gilmer will accompany them down there and after they are settled he will make his way to some other functions in Mindanao. Please be in prayer with us for this team of young people who desire to serve God in this way. They are an encouragement to all of us working with PSC as we see some fruit for all the hard work during the last months.
There is also another team going to Thailand that will leave on May 14th. If you want more information about those teams you can click on the link to our new PSC website. They also have more pictures, stories, and a monthly prayer calendar you can print and use during your prayer.
On The Home Front
IT'S HOT HERE!!!! Philippine summer has arrived and I am ready for it to leave again! The houses here aren't airconditioned so going indoors is not any relief from this humid heat. Most people do have room airconditioners in some rooms but using them is like pulling teeth since the price of electricity is so high. I hope we survive until rainy season :0
The last few months have been busy as Gilmer has had more and more training to do and responsibilities with PSC. The kids are doing well in school and looking forward to our summer vacation time. We have also had quite a few visitors staying with us which keeps me busy as well.
Nhaya had her 9th Birthday on April 19th!!
Track and Field Day at the kids school. Look at Caleb go!!

This is Josiah and Dewani. She stayed with us for 3 weeks in April. She is a friend from Baguio City. If you look back she was in our blog before when we left Baguio the first time.
