Philippine Bound

We have exciting news…WE ARE 100% SUPPORTED AND HAVE OUR PLANE TICKETS TO GO BACK TO THE PHILIPPINES! We praise God that He has provided for us in awesome ways in the last few weeks. People we just met are now partnering with us, anonymous gifts designated for outgoing expenses have come in, current supporters are upping their monthly pledge and in the last month we have gotten at least five new monthly supporters! We feel so incredibly blessed by the family of Christ and humbled to be the recipients of such care and concern. All we can say is thank you Lord for providing for us!

We will be leaving for the Philippines on June 2nd and can stay in our current Tucson house until then. Our house in the Philippines has renters now and will be vacant for just one week before we move back in. It seems that all our prayers and plans are falling right into place. The 2 weeks will be very busy for us as we prepare to move and say goodbye to all our friends and family. It is not easy living in two places, on two different continents. Our hearts are in both! We find ourselves excited to go back and continue our ministry there, but at the same time very sad to leave our family and friends here in the States. Please continue to be in prayer for that transition and especially for the kids; missionary life is not easy for them. They are taking it very well so far and are excited to go back to the Philippines. They said they really miss “real” mangos the most!

Continued prayer requests and praises:

-Praise God for the kids school, they finished today! They enjoyed their time here at Family Life Academy and will really miss all their new friends. What a great semester it has been.

-Packing and organizing- this last month before we move is always crazy and we will need lots of patience

-Moving in the Philippines- once we get back we plan to move south to Davao, which means shipping containers, moving furniture, car and animals, plus finding a new home and setting up an office.

Thank you for the prayer card! This is Darren, the one who had the priviledge to sit next to young Caleb on the plane. I WILL offer my prayers for your family. Have a wonderful mission, because GOD always grants us a wonderful adventure when we do his will. Grow in love for him daily. One day visit Guam, my island, also. Greetings to Caleb. Pray for me. God bless you all!
